Samsung Galaxy A37 5G overview.

Design and build

At 7.4 mm thick and weighing 196 grams, the A37 5G has a sleek feel to it and is a solid build when held. Gorilla Glass Victus+ is on both sides of the phone (front/back), and IP68 gives it protection from being immersed in water/dust; therefore, there will be no issues if you use the phone in the rain or spill something on it. You can pick either Black, Gray-green, or Lavender if you live in Nepal. The Dolby Atmos stereo speakers produce high-quality sound in the room, and Samsung Galaxy Buds will work great as an additional accessory to compensate for the missing headphone jack.

Display

The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen (FHD+, approximately 385 PPI) is able to adjust its refresh rate automatically from 60Hz to 120Hz depending on what you are doing (scrolling through social media, playing games, viewing video, etc.), making it appear very smooth. At the same time, this feature also helps conserve battery power. The screen can reach up to 1200 Nits of brightness during peak performance and can reach up to 1900 Nits when displaying content in High Dynamic Range (HDR) format. Therefore, the screen will be legible even in bright sunlight. Gorilla Glass Victus+ is used as a protective layer over the entire front face of the phone. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner is located beneath the screen surface.

Performance

The Exynos 1480 is a 4nm chip that has the Xclipse 530 GPU. With this, you can choose either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It also includes UFS 3.1 storage for quick opening of applications and smooth multitasking. If you are someone who works on several applications simultaneously, or if you like to play games using medium settings, then the Exynos 1480 would be an excellent choice for you. Since the storage is built into the device, you will need to determine how much space you require; either 128GB or 256GB of storage should meet your requirements.

Software

Samsung's A37 5G is running One UI 8.5 (based on Android 16) with Circle to Search, Object Recognition, Auto Trim, and Best Face. Security has been added to the A37 5G by Samsung Knox. Samsung is promising that there will be six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates; therefore, you should be able to use your A37 5G for a very long period of time.

Camera

The 50MP main camera (f/1.8) has OIS, so it'll help you get better shots in low-light conditions and more stable footage. In addition, there's an 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 123°) and a 5MP macro lens to provide you with additional shooting options. You can also use the rear camera to capture 4K video at 30 frames per second. The 12MP front-facing camera can be used to take 4K video at 30 frames per second with 10-bit HDR to give you clear, bright self-portraits.

Battery

The 5000 milliampere-hour Lithium-Ion battery provides approximately 7 hours of display-on time. It supports fast charging at 45 watts via the USB Type-C port, allowing for about 60 percent of the battery to be charged within 30 minutes; thus, a rapid charge will allow you to quickly return to your activities. Since the product only comes with a charging cable, we recommend that you to also purchase a 45-watt Samsung adapter from us.

Who Should Buy It?

The Galaxy A37 5G is a good choice if you are looking for a phone with a very bright screen, water/dust resistance (IP68), and quick charging capability (45W). This would be a perfect fit for people who multitask a lot, as well as those who love watching videos on their phones and intend to keep them around for quite some time. All you need to do now is get yourself some Samsung Galaxy Buds and a 45W charger, and you're good to go.
