Samsung Galaxy A07s

The Samsung Galaxy A07S offers a 6.7-inch display, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an IP54 rating for protection against water and dust. One of the best things about this budget-friendly 4G device is its MediaTek Helio G99+ processor from MediaTek, plus 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via a microSD card up to 2TB). It also features a large 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, a 50MP primary camera, and runs on Android 16 with One UI 8. It was released in Nepal in September 2026, and its price changes every now and then due to global price hikes.

Samsung Galaxy A07S Overview

Design and build

The A07S measures 7.6 mm in thickness and weighs 188 grams, which means that it will feel very comfortable when held in your hand. This phone features a glass front, along with a plastic back and frame. Additionally, this phone offers an IP54 rating for protection against both dust and light water splashing. You may select from three colour options: Black, Light Violet , and Green. There are no stereo speakers mentioned on the Samsung website; therefore, you should assume that this device will only have one speaker available for making calls and watching videos. Your wired headphones will remain functional with the inclusion of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Display

The large screen of the 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD display provides a smooth viewing experience with a 90Hz refresh rate. Whether you're scrolling through your social feeds, watching movies or playing games, this display will provide an excellent view for everything you do. The fingerprint sensor is located on the right side of the device to allow quick access to your phone.

Performance

The MediaTek Helio G99+ (6nm) will run your daily tasks such as calls, social media, and video playback with ease; in addition, the chip is capable of utilising the faster LPDDR5X RAM technology. Your daily needs will be met by the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. A microSD card slot allows you to expand your available space for storing photos and videos up to 2TB.

Software

The A07s includes Android 16 and One UI 8, making it simple to operate, and the same system is found on Samsung Galaxy tablets. Samsung will provide at least six years of security updates and six major OS upgrades to ensure that your device remains functional for many years to come.

Camera

The 50 MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8 features a phase detection autofocus system that produces high-quality, vibrant images in daylight. Located next to the primary camera is a 2 MP depth sensor. Additionally, there is an 8 MP front-facing camera available for taking self-portraits. This device allows you to digitally zoom in on subjects from distances of up to ten times their actual size. Slow-motion recording is possible using the HD setting with a frame rate of 120 frames per second. Video can be captured on the back of the device with resolutions of either 1080p at thirty frames per second or sixty frames per second.

Battery

The battery on this device is 5,000mAh; therefore, it will last at least one day when used for everyday activities such as scrolling through social media, watching videos online or making phone calls. There are two options for charging this device: 1) over USB-C at 25W; 2) with a 25W Samsung charger, which provides the fastest charging speeds.

Who Should Buy It?

If you are looking for a Samsung phone that will receive software updates for a very long time, as well as have IP54 water resistance, the Galaxy A07S would be an excellent choice. I would suggest this device for parents, first-time smartphone users, or anyone else who intends to use their device for several years. To complement the Galaxy A07S, you can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Buds and a 25W charger to complete your setup.
