Ai Plus is a smartphone brand that was first launched in India in July 2025 under NxtQuantum Shift Technologies. They are different from most budget competitors in terms of privacy-first software, locally trained AI features, and a dedicated service network that extends into Nepal as well. Every model of the Ai+ phone runs on the NxtQuantum OS, which is built on top of Android and is designed around privacy, which is a different priority than most budget phone software. It is not ad-heavy and has no bloatware, which is common on many budget Android phones. They have a dedicated NxtPrivacy Dashboard for controlling exactly what data apps can access, NxtSafe Space for securing sensitive files and apps behind an extra layer of protection, and a locally trained AI feature that processes on-device rather than sending everything to external servers. The data from users is stored on India-based, government-approved cloud infrastructure under a zero-trust framework, meaning that the company cannot access your personal data as well. Pulse Series

In the Pulse series, we have the Pulse and Pulse 2 models, and they are the AI+’s entry-level point made for buyers who want the lowest price on a smartphone. The original Pulse model runs on the Unisoc T615 chip with a 90Hz display and a 5000mAh battery, while the Pulse 2 steps up its performance with the newer Unisoc T7250 chipset, a smoother 120Hz display, and a large 6000mAh battery.

Nova Series

In the Nova series, we have the Nova 5G and the Nova 2 5G, which are AI+’s 5G-focused models aimed at buyers who want future-proof connectivity at an affordable price. The Nova 5G uses a Unisoc T8200 chipset with a 5000mAh battery, while the Nova 2 5G brings the same capable chipset paired with a larger 6000mAh battery and has Android 16 out of the box. Thus, this is one of the most affordable ways to get a 5G phone in Nepal’s current market. In both models, we have a 50MP main rear camera and a secondary 2MP lens.

In this price bracket, we see the Nova 5G (NPR 18,499/21,999) and both Nova 2 5G variants (NPR 22,999/26,999). This is where the mobile phones start to have 5G connectivity in them, and it is quite rare to find in comparison to phones of competing brands.
